MTGEDH aims to publish accurate and reliable information. This Corrections Policy explains how to report issues and how we handle corrections.
1) What qualifies for correction
We welcome reports of:
- factual errors (e.g., card text summaries, rules explanations, format legality)
- outdated information (e.g., ban list changes, reprints that affect availability)
- broken links or missing resources
- pricing methodology issues (e.g., incorrect assumptions about printings/foils)
- tool output issues that appear incorrect or misleading (bugs or data issues)
Disagreements about playstyle preferences or subjective recommendations may not result in a “correction,” but we may still update content for clarity or additional context.
2) How to request a correction
Email us at: contact@mtgedh.com
Please include:
- the URL of the page/tool output in question
- what you believe is incorrect
- what you believe the correct information should be
- supporting sources or evidence where possible (especially for rules or policy claims)
3) How we handle correction requests
We generally follow this process:
- Review
We evaluate the report and may ask follow-up questions. - Verification
We check relevant sources (for example, official rules references for rules questions) and review internal tool logic where applicable. - Update
If a correction is warranted, we update the content or tool behavior as appropriate. - Notes (when appropriate)
For significant corrections that change the meaning of an article or recommendation, we may add a brief correction note indicating what changed.
4) Timing
We aim to address corrections as reasonably quickly as possible, but timing can vary depending on complexity (for example, tool bugs that require engineering work).
5) Transparency
If a correction materially changes a guide’s recommendation or conclusions, we prefer to update the content rather than remove it, unless removal is necessary for legal or safety reasons.
